Thanks for the info. I am into my 3rd week of John Romaniello’s FPFL 2.0 program. After I read the material, I’ll see what I can incorporate.
I’m not a bodybuilder per se, just getting the 62 year old frame back into shape!

Hey Eric, Does heavy weight lifting (snatch, c & j) will help a fighter to be fight better?
Or only EPE which is important for fighters?
Thanks for the ebook, well done.

Snatch and C&J are good exercises, I don’t teach them because I believe that it’s important to learn these exercises properly, not just hack at them, because doing them poorly can really beat up the wrists, elbows and shoulders.
They are good for Power development, but I would not use them in EPE training, because once you begin to fatigue, your technique deteriorates, making them dangerous.

Thanks for everything. I am going to be starting Phase 2 in the morning. Phase 1 absolutely worked 100% in with my core stabilization. The core muscles those exercises worked, REALLY WORKED. I already feel tighter and more stable through-out.

Thanks Eric. I have been looking for somthing like this for a long time. I’m a big MMA, UFC fan and have always tried to get the ripped look without expensive Gym and Personal Trainer bills. Now I can.

Hey Shane,
The past is the past, so let it go! Take whatever lessons you can learn from whatever happened and then it is no longer a failure – failures only occur if you don’t learn anything from an event. But if you learn something, then anytime you learn, you grow, and anytime you grow, you are a success.
If there was absolutely no lesson (which is very, very rare), then just let it go…
… then, focus on the present and the future. Answer these questions (don’t just read them and forget them, answer them RIGHT NOW):
What can you do now with the lesson(s) you learned?
What are your goals?
Why do you want to achieve these goals, what do they mean to you?
What can you do now to achieve your goals?
The answers to these questions is where you want to keep your mind focused and that will give you the motivation to continue training.
Hope this helps. But like I said, what I’ve just said to you won’t do anything unless you sit here for 30 minutes, 60 minutes or however long it takes to answer these questions. Just reading them without answering them is wasting both your time and mine.
