I’ve talked a lot about how important sparring is to the fighter’s physique so I decided to hook you up with this workout so you can see for yourself what they’re all about.
This is the PRO Live Sparring session from 4 Weeks Out.
As you can see, it doesn’t involve fighting or getting punched in the face. Sorry to disappoint! :)
I call them ‘sparring’ workouts because they involve movements and I designed the workouts to simulate what it would be like to be in a really tough sparring session: quick movements, different positions, explosiveness, up and down constantly…
This is one of 8 Live Sparring sessions in the entire program. Each week has a PRO and AMATEUR version, so don’t be intimidated if it looks too hard. You’ll get the hang of it, which is why I’ve also included what I call TECHNICAL Sparring sessions.
The Technical Sparring workouts are where you focus on form and technique vs. conditioning and they give you a chance to work on your mechanics before going all out in the Live sparring session.
They also have separate videos where I explain all the pointers and form cues you’ll need to perform the exercise perfectly.
