I first released the MMA Ripped program in April of 2009. My goal was to introduce the unique methods I’d been using to train mixed martial artists for battle to guys who wanted to get fit like a fighter… without the blood and bruises.
Guys from around the world had much success with it. But since then, I’ve developed new methods and discovered innovative exercises (link to Lunge/chop) that not only maximize performance but also chisel the fighter’s physique.
As I’ve been focused on training fighters for peak performance inside the octagon, working with guys like Claude Patrick for his UFC debut and now for his first ever fight on home turf at UFC 129, I’ve been watching new ‘fat loss’ programs come and go that are more of the same old boring shit…

Chest day, back day, legs, Tabata’s – this stuff has been recycled and packaged as the ‘next big thing’ more times than I can count (and being Chinese I’m good with numbers).
Plus, all these programs only focus on burning fat and revealing your abs. They never talk about getting stronger, more explosive, improving your cardio, strength endurance, neuromuscular coordination – nothing but looking sexy on the beach in summer.

Fighters don’t sit in their bedrooms flexing their abs and biceps and trying on pink bikinis. Not the good ones at least.
That’s why back in November 2010 I decided to revamp the MMA Ripped program with everything that I’d learned… It took me two and a half months to complete, but even then, I wanted to make sure it was perfect. I opened it up to a 20 ‘beta testers’ to test and tweak everything to ensure it worked as well as I thought… Think of it as a ‘clinical trial’.
These 20 spots filled faster than Anderson Silva’s front kick.
This initial group was basically used as ‘lab rats’ to test some my new drugs on. Drugs like Max Brute Strength, Grinding Strength Endurance, Explosive Power Endurance, Movement Pattern Based 3D Training, Endless Cardio and MORE.
And the lab rats showed some significant improvements as a direct result of these methods, not to mention some SERIOUS side effects… Side effects like:
33 lbs of fat lost… 90 lb increase in max Deadlift
strength… 7 inches lost from chest… Increase in
# of Chinups from 2 to 9… all in just 8 weeks!
