Phil is a 34 year old father of 4 who also trains MMA. He came in at hefty 242 lbs with a desire to get back in shape after, in his words, “Drinking lots, smoking lots, over eating and doing things that are generally not good for your health.” He’s also one of the funniest blokes I’ve met online in a long while. Check out what he looks like now without his ‘fat suit’ on, what he has to say and as always, you can find his complete results at the bottom of the page. – Eric
A: AWESOME
Q: What is the 1 measurable results you achieved that you’re most happy with?
A: MY CHEST HAS GONE FROM 48 TO 41 AND I HAVE NEARLY LOST MY BOOBS
Q: What is the 1 subjective (how you feel) result you’re most happy with?
A: EVERYTHING STRENGTH, CONDITIONING, CARDIO
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself, what you do for a living, how old you are, hobbies, family, job, lifestyle etc… to give people an idea of who they’re reading about.
A: I am a 34 year old father of 4 who works in recruitment; previous hobbies have been drinking lots, smoking lots, over eating and doing things that are generally not good for your health. My lifestyle has gone from drinking every evening to training mma most evenings
Q: Why did you join the MMA Ripped 8-Week Training Camp, what was your main goal?
A: My main goal was to cut weight, lose the boobs and belly, get stuck into a proper diet that compliments the lifestyle I am looking for permanently
Q: Before the program started, did you have any doubts about it?
A: NO, I am anal when it comes to research on the internet so I searched Eric Wong in detail and liked what I read so I thought sod it, let’s give it a go what have I got to lose apart from weight I weighed up the pro’s and con’s what would happen if I carried on doing the same things as I am doing now against what could happen if I tried this program stuck with it and got results after just 8 weeks of my life.
Q: What were your workouts like before?
A: I have tried weights a few times and hated them as I didn’t have a clue what to do or in what order, my cardio was normal cardio that you get in a warm up prior to class and training
Q: Tell us what you think about the workouts in the MMA Ripped Training Camp.
A: Weird, different, mind blowing yet absolutely Amazing, although some times were a little tough after every workout I felt fantastic, the further through the program I went the better I was feeling. Simply astonishing, well thought out and explained exercises that I was motivated to do throughout the entire program, I have tried weights beforehand however got bored instantly so had no motivation to do anything however using Eric’s program I wanted to train and train harder everyday
Q: Do you train MMA or play any sports or other activities?
A: Yes, BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo,
Q: How do you feel now compared to before the camp, in general and in any sports/activities you do.
A: Simply better in every aspect of life I walk (bounce) around and feel refreshed no matter what I have been doing or for how long and a lot more confident on the mat or in the cage
Q: Can you give us a specific story or example of something you think you pulled off because of your improved level of fitness?
A: Rolling in general, everybody at the gym notices my increase in strength and conditioning a perfect example prior to starting this program I was rolling with a Britain Strongest Man winner within 3 weeks of starting this program I rolled with him again and he stated he hated rolling with me as my technique had improved so much due to my strength improving day by day.
Q: What was your eating like before the camp?
A: It was good 1 week prior to starting this program as I had made the decision to change however prior to that I would eat out lots and eat whatever I wanted whenever I wanted
Q: What are 2 big lessons you learned with respect to your diet and nutrition?
A: Prepare everything or as much as I can from fresh and Cut of carbs
Q: What do you think about the way the program was delivered in 2 week blocks instead of all at once?
A: Fantastic, it is possibly why I stayed on it, if the program was delivered in one bulk I would have possibly looked at it at the start and said that’s fine however then shit myself and possibly not have done it as the last few weeks were/looked challenging
Q: Looking at your results, how do you feel about them?
A: Good very good however I am now looking to improve even further and feel amazing
Q: How do they compare to things you’ve tried in the past?
A: Nothing that I am aware of and I have looked at a few over the years trust me can even come close to how this program is put together, implemented and most importantly supported.
Q: Have others (friends, family, training partners) mentioned anything about your results?
A: Everyone from wife, kids, family, training partners to my postman
Q: What could be improved in the program?
A: Honestly, I do not think anything it is put together to be so much more than a few exercises put on paper or showed on video’s via the internet, it has everything needed to implement it with ease. (Apart from the downloads for the last few videos, which still won’t let me download them buddy)
Q: Was there anything you DIDN’T like?
A: No
Q: Finally, is there anything else you’d like to add?
A: To anybody considering whether or not to get involved in this particular program developed by Eric Wong whether it be to make a small, medium big or humongous change in your life and/or life style or to build and develop specific MMA training my advice would read like an advert for Nike “just do it” if I found it interesting, fun, challenging and motivational plus viewed the training videos and understood them with ease I am positive you will. As for the coaching and support received from Eric it was and is as good if not better then in person as it was all recorded via email and on a forum so I could go back and correct anything or review it if I thought I was getting it wrong, he truly has developed a system that is ahead of his competitors the professionalism is what you would expect from an leading international plc however the advice he offers in both nutrition and coaching is both personalized for the individual and second to none, as for the Man he is one of those rare and unique Gentlemen that promotes and encourages excellence from all involved in him don’t just take my word for it type “Eric Wong” mma AND review in any search engine and read what other people have to say that’s exactly what I did and I am glad I did, if UFC and other professional fighters trust his expertise what have you got to lose.
Cheers Bro
Your student for as long as you will have me

Not much to say here as the phenomenal results in both fat loss and fitness speak for themselves!
Wow, looks impressive. I followed your S &C programme and I am fit as a fiddle ( Resting heart rate is now 52 BPM) but I found the dieting thing hard work so i’m still over 20% Body fat. I just love my food too much especially after a work out. It will be interesting to see how this Programe works.
